Founder/Owned & Operated
Moving to the US from Mexico City at age 18, Chef Solano navigated his way from busser and line cook to Executive Chef and Restaurant owner. His resume contains various high end restaurants in the Coachella Valley. Prior to opening Solano’s in 2009, the prior 12 years were spent as the Executive Chef at The Club at PGA West.
His masterful skills are self taught. His dishes incorporate the bright bold flavors of Baja up the coast to the fresh ingredients of the Pacific Northwest. His West Coast Bistro has become a local hot spot and deemed a “neighborhood gem”. Whether you’re a desert resident or just visiting, trying Chef Solano’s food at his bistro is a must.

At Solano’s Bistro we pride ourselves on providing our guests with a dining experience that is nothing short of exceptional. We do this by focusing our energy on the needs of our customers so that new customers become repeat customers.
Much of our success is due in part to the warm ambiance and delicious food but also our phenomenal staff. Much of our staff have been working with us for years, some since the opening, and as a result many of our customers have become friends and family.
